Meet the accomplished women who snared exquisite art!

The Red Queen Winner, Ms. Donna Robinson Stevenson, WHS 1982, Class Treasurer

Business owner and President of Early Morning Software which also manufactures PRISMCompliance.com software to help organizations have high performing diversity equity and inclusion programs.

"My experience at Western provided me the foundation of intelligence and confidence to be successful in the challenging industry of IT which  is underrepresented by minorities and women.  I believe that single sex education especially for women can be transformational. After Western I attended a woman’s college, Chatham College, in Pittsburgh. I ultimately graduated from UMBC, however my professors knew by my behavior in the classroom that I must have been educated in all woman’s environment.

I was inspired to purchase the art as a collector and to have something to represent my educational and leadership foundation gained and ‘Dove’ sisterhood experienced at Western."

Shine the Light Shawl Winner, Darrilynne Arnelle-Mazyck M.D., WHS 1972

Pediatrician. B.A. Honors in Biology, Williams College; M.D. Honors in Pediatrics, Hahnemann (now Drexel) School of Medicine; Associate Clinical Professor, Community Medicine and Pediatrics, Emory University; Clinical Instructor, Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, Assistant Medical Director for Pediatrics, Johns Hopkins Health Plan (retired)

Married to Bernard Mazyck (her date for the WHS Senior Dance!) for 33 years.

"Western was pivotal to the success I have been blessed to have. I'm a strong believer in single-sex education, especially in STEM. Western gave me the confidence and education to be able to compete at national elite institutions and in male-dominated areas. (My class at Williams was the 2nd co-ed class they admitted!) Thanks to the Foundation for putting on a great celebration!"
